社会主义制度下的生产劳动与非生产劳动社会主义社会中生产物质财富和剩余产品的劳动与超出这个范围的包括从事文化、教育、法律、卫生等方面的劳动。两种劳动的区分 区分生产劳动和非生产劳动的界限有两个方面的规定性:一是物质生产本身的规定性,按照这个规定性，只有投入物质生产领域中的劳动才是生产劳动，除此而外都是非生产劳动。二是社会形式的规定性，即在各种不同的社会制度下，由于生产资料所有制形式不同，生产的目的不同，决定了生产劳动与非生产劳动的界限也不相同。在资本主义制度下，生产目的从属于资本，是为剩余价值而生产，在资本家看来，只有为资本家提供剩余价值的劳动才是生产劳动。在社会主义制度下,生产资料公有制占据绝对优势,生产目的是为了满足社会全体成员日益增长的物质和文化需要，这时区分生产劳动与非生产劳动，就要把物质生产过程的一般规定性与社会主义社会形式的规定性统一起来考察。一般地说，生产劳动只包括生产物质财富的劳动。严格地说，由于社会主义再生产的特征是扩大再生产，因而不仅生产物质财富，而且还须向社会提供剩余产品或纯收入的劳动，才是生产劳动。两大部门 按照划分生产劳动和非生产劳动的标准，社会的各个部门可以划分为物质生产部门和非物质生产部门两大类。农业、工业、建筑业是为了满足社会需要的物质生产部门，是生产部门。文化、教育、科学、体育、卫生、政法等部门不是物质生产领域的部门，不创造物质产品和提供纯收入，是非生产部门。关于交通运输、邮电、商业、服务业等部门，经济学界存在不同意见，一种意见认为这些部门是生产部门；另一种意见认为这些部门不是生产部门，但在这些部门中有的包含着生产物质财富的活动，有的包含着生产过程在流通中的延续。对此应按实际情况做具体分析，把这些部门中包含的生产劳动部分划分出来，同上述物质生产部门的劳动计算在一起。两种劳动的相互关系 非生产劳动是从生产劳动发展而来的。自从原始公社末期出现剩余产品后，社会分工逐渐发展起来，特别是出现了体力劳动与脑力劳动的分工后，才有了非生产劳动。非生产劳动的发展以生产劳动的发展为前提，生产劳动是非生产劳动得以发展的基础；反过来后者又对生产劳动的发展起越来越重要的作用，尤其随着现代科学技术发展，这种作用将日益突出。社会主义社会存在着发达的社会分工，有计划按比例地在各个部门间分配劳动，是社会主义经济顺利发展的基本条件。安排比例关系，包括安排好物质生产部门与非物质生产部门的比例，即安排好生产劳动与非生产劳动的比例，是经济社会协调发展的一个重要前提。
