麦克斯韦速度分布定律分子式:CAS号:性质:当温度一定时,气体分子速度平方的平均值是一定的。在任何一瞬间,所有分子的速度大小可能有许多值:有些分子速度为零;而同时又有一些分子的速度比平均速度大得多。究竟某一速率间隔(V1,V1+dV1)内的分子有多少个,另一速率间隔(V2,V2+dV2)内的分子又有多少个,可由分子速率分布来说明。当分子数目很大时,速率的分布必然服从一定的统计规律,即速率分布定律。气体分子速率分布定律的公式首先由麦克斯韦从理论推出,称为麦克斯韦速率分布定律。其公式为:式中,V为气体分子的运动速率,m为分子的质量,k为玻尔兹曼常数,T为热力学温度,dNV为N个分子中速率在V至V+dV之间的分子数目。该式适用于达到热平衡状态的理想气体分子的速率分布。其中称为速率分布函数。对于一定气体,在一定温度T时,f(v)为速率的函数,它的含义相当于速率在v至v+dv之间而dv等于单位速率间隔的分子数占总分子数的分数。
