可以用来作为在对方提议后的热烈回应，意思犹如中文里的 “没问题，就这么说定了。” 此外还可用于对方向你挑衅、要求打赌的时候，为了不让自己被比下去，用 "You"re on." 表示 “跟你赌了！” 来展现气魄。

1.I’m your neighbor down the street.
在英语中，如果不是专指住在隔壁的邻居，可以说“She"s my neighbor.”意思就是你住的那个小区周边所有的人都可以叫做“neighborhood”。不过如果要特指住在你隔壁的邻居，则要说“She"s my next-door neighbor”.她是住在我隔壁那个美丽的女邻居。加上next-door作定语，特指隔壁的。
2. My son is your son"s friend at school.
在美国，邻里之间初次见面，可以谈论像小孩，宠物这类的话题，都可以迅速的拉近彼此之间的距离。像是拼车接送小孩儿上学或者代为照看宠物都是永不过期的话题！
