Xuchang is located in the central plain area of China with a long history and culture, superior transportation location, distinctive industrial characteristics, vigorous development of private economy, livable ecological environment and other prominent features. It is the famous capital of Cao and Wei (municipal areas of Chinese ancient dynasties), the “hometown of wigs”, the renowned “capital of wisdom”, and one of the most livable cities in China.
Being as the "provincial-ministered city with outstanding financial ecology" , Xuchang ranks the first in terms of its business environment, the second in cross-border e-commerce transaction volume, the third in industrial competitiveness and the fourth in GDP. It has won more than 10 national titles, such as National Civilized City, National Sanitary City, National Ecological Garden City, National Water Ecological Civilization City, China"s top ten “Most Livable and Tourism Cities”, and is known as the "south garden" of Zhengzhou.

Xuchang hair products began at the end of the Qing dynasty. After more than 100 years of cultural accumulation, technological innovation, publicity and promotion, Xuchang has become the largest hair products distribution center and export base in the country and even the world, and leads the industry standard.
With 252 registered enterprises, more than 300,000 employees and more than 3,000 product categories, the market has spread to 120 countries and regions around the world, and the Internet sales are hot. In , the total output value of the city"s products reached 23.6 billion yuan. It has obtained more than 714 patents, 109 independent brands and 645 overseas registered trademarks.
It has been awarded "China Hair Products Export Production Base", "National Innovation Base for Promoting Trade through Science and Technology" and "National Transformation and Upgrading Base for Foreign Trade (Hair Products)". Since the beginning of the year, more than 10 domestic top media such as xinhua news agency, xinhuanet, China news service and financial channel have competed for reports, and their global popularity and reputation have been significantly improved.
随着国际经济文化交流的深入推进，国际合作也呈快速迭代、不断提质的态势。为积极响应“一带一路”国家战略，加快、加大许昌发制品与全球市场的合作，构建区域产业的品牌化、全球化体系，定于9月下旬在河南许昌举办“发制品全球跨境电子商务大会暨中非跨境电商高峰论坛”。
借此契机，分析新时代跨境电子商务面对的机遇、挑战及对策，探讨中国发制品行业跨境电子商务发展状况及趋势、中国发制品行业如何进行转型和升级，切实推进发制品行业跨境电子商务健康、快速、有序的发展。
With the deepening of the international economic and cultural exchange, international cooperation has also rapidly developed into a new era. To further promote the policy of “ the Belt and Road”, accelerate the cooperation between Xuchang and the world and brand internationally the industry of hair products, we scheduled this event in late September in Xuchang, Henan Province.
We will analyze the opportunities and challenges in the new era of cross-border e-commerce, explore the current situation of the cross-border e-commerce development in China and investigate in how to upgrade the industry of hair products, thus promoting an efficient, healthy and orderly development of the hair products industry.
