Day 1
Todayis the first of October which is a very special day for our motherland—China.It is her seventieth birthday.To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC,my family members gathered together in front of the TV and enjoyed the military parade.Firstof all,president Xi delivered a speech at Tian’anmen Square in Beijing.Xi said:No force can ever shake the status of China,or stop the Chinse people and nation from marching forward. I was shocked and very proud of my motherland.Atabout 11 o’clock ,the military parade began.Soliders walked in a line accurately. Then many cool tanks,planes and missiles made a stage pose at the Tian’anmen Square. One of the most amazing wapon is definitely be DF-41.It was as long as two normal trucks !I am still wondering why they could walk in a straight line wonderfully. And I am very happy to see that China has became more and more prosperous and strong.If there will an afterlife,I still want to be a Chinese!DAY 2
TodayI spent a whole day in Zhenjiang University, the school from which my parents graduated. The campus is too big for us to visit on foot. Fortunately there are many shared-bicycles in the university. So cool !
Afterhaving a nice meal at the Qiushi canteen, I went to ZJUMAA which is short for Zhejiang University Museum of Art and Archaeology.With the generous support of friends and alumni, the museum opened with 997 ancient and modern works of art covering China, Aisa and the West in September . It took them nearly ten years to collect and build the museum which covered an area about 25000 square meters.
Thereare four galleries in the museum and my favorite part is the first gallery called“China and the World”. There are not only lots oftraditional paintings and calligraphy works, but also plenty of foreign contemporary sculptures. One of my favorite productions is fan called “The bamboo and plum blossom” which was drawed by Zhang Daqian. It was antique flavor. Brilliant!
The museum is free to everyone who visits here.Because the collection will improve people’s understanding of passion for Chinese civilization and also encourage an appreciation for cultural diversity. I 100 percent agreed with it. And I really learned a lot from it.
Manypeople travel far away to spend their holiday, but I prefer to stay in the museum!
DAY 3
Today, with great happiness, I went to see the famous film “MY PEOPLE，MY COUNTRY ” whichis very popular at the moment.The movie was made by seven top-level directors and fifty famousactresses and actors. Until now, box-office receipts amounts toover 1.3 billion.
Thefilm includes seven little stories which represent seven important and touching moments since the foundation of China.One of my favorite part is “Meeting”. It was about China’s first atomic bomb explodingsuccessfully on October 16th, 1964. One of the researchers was pollutedby nuclear radiation because he wanted to remedy an experiment. As soon as he escaped from the hospital, he met his lover. He knew his work is highly confidential as state secret, so he behaved like a stranger. When they dispersed by the crowd, his lover pointed the news to him which said China’s first atomic bomb exploded successfully, he picked of his mask and smiled to her. She was also very happy because she thought she has chosen the right man. However, many years later, as she finally knew he died for the experiment, she cried.
Thisstory really touched me. For this experiment project, many youngresearchers laid down their lifes. They had not seen their families and friends for 3 years. If he died, nobody could even know his name. They worked for China silently, but not for money or power. They were the most greatest and bravest people I have ever seen. We should all remember and be proud of them. In my opinion, whoever made a contribution to our country is a hero.
“MYPEOPLE, MY COUNTRY ” is a instructive and heart-warming film. Have you seen it yet ? If your answer is no, you should be quick!
DAY 4
Asyou may know, I have a lovely cat named Miaomiao which is a cute British short-hair cat. I always play with it when I am free. It is my good buddy.Duringthe holiday, I brought it to my house in Hangzhou which has a small garden.Athough Miaomiao is wild at heart, it is also very timid. In order to keep it in the garden, there is a high fence built around the garden. However, there is still asmallhole we did not notice. During the first three days, it played with grass and grasshoppers in the garden happily with freedom. But on the last day, while we were preparing to return to Shanghai, we found it was missing.OMG！Where is Miaomiao? Our heart were burning with impatience. We looked for it everywhere we could reach, but nothing was found. I was worried and sad as I was sure that I would not see Miaomiao any longer. When I was depressive, my mom suddenly shouted: Miaomiao is back! It came back by itself! I was relieved and really happy to hear it. Well, it went out and explored the unknown world !
