Programme Overview
The MSc (Electronics) programme is offered on a part-time and full-time basis for engineers in the electronics industry who would like to have graduate training in various topics, amongst others, in integrated circuit design,microelectronics fabricationand manufacture of electronic and photonic products.MSc（电子学）课程是为电子行业的工程师提供兼职和全职的课程，他们希望获得各种主题的研究生培训，其中包括集成电路设计，微电子制造以及电子和光子制造产品。The scope of this programme ranges from IC design and microelectronics to optoelectronics. IC design deals with circuit design and analysis, signals in electronics, packaging and reliability. Microelectronics focuses on manufacturing, fabrication and semiconductor devices. Optoelectronics emphasises on display technologies, photonics and related topics. Programme Structure
There are two options of study, one with coursework and dissertation, and the other with coursework only. Each course is of 3 AUs, and consists of 39 hours of lectures. Candidates who undertake a project of 6 AUs must submit a dissertation on it.学习有两种选择，一种是课程作业和学位论文，另一种是课程作业。每门课程为3个AU，包括39个小时的讲座。学习6个AU的项目的候选人必须提交论文。
Full-time students are strongly recommended to select the dissertation option, however this option is recommended only for students with a high level of English proficiency. Students taking the dissertation option may take a longer time to complete the programme.强烈建议全日制学生选择学位论文选项，但此选项仅适用于英语水平较高的学生。参加学位论文选项的学生可能需要更长的时间才能完成课程。

Programme Duration
Both full-time and part-time programmes are offered (unless stated). Part-time candidates are expected to obtain permission from their employer before admission to the programme. All classes are conducted in the evenings, while examinations are conducted during office hours.提供全日制和非全日制课程（除非另有说明）。兼职候选人在入学前必须获得雇主的许可。所有课程都在晚上进行，而考试在办公时间进行。

Application Period
All the EEE MSc programmes only have one intake per academic year for August admission. The applications for admission are normally invited through the press and announced by the Office of Academic (OAS) website. Interested applicants must submit their applications via the OAS online application portal which will be open in November and closed by end January each year.所有EEE理学硕士课程每个学年只有一次入学，8月入学。入学申请通常通过媒体邀请并由学术办公室（OAS）网站公布。有兴趣的申请人必须通过OAS在线申请门户网站提交申请，该门户网站将于11月开放，并于每年1月底结束。
