《乐府杂录》笔记。 1卷。著者段安节。临淄邹平(今属山东)人。生卒年、字号不详。段成式之子，温庭筠之婿。乾宁中为国子司业，仕至吏部郎中、沂王傅。"善乐律，能自度曲"（《新唐书·段成式传》）。除《乐府杂录》外，《直斋书录解题》尚著录其《琵琶故事》1卷，今佚。《乐府杂录》大约著于昭宗即位 (888)至乾宁元年(894)之间。作者原序说："尝见《教坊记》,亦未周详，以耳目所接，编成《乐府杂录》一卷。"所称"乐府"，实际上包括了唐中叶以后的音乐、歌舞、技艺、百戏。书中首录关于乐部9条,记述了雅乐、清乐、鼓吹等九部的制度与情况；其次关于歌、舞、俳优3条,记载了一些著名的歌唱家、舞蹈演员；复次关于乐器的13条，叙述了各种乐器的演奏能手；还有关于乐曲的11条，关于傀儡子（木偶戏）的1条,大抵是源流的考证；最后是《别乐识五音轮二十八调图》,虽今本已有文无图,但仍提供了研究燕乐的资料依据。此书写在《教坊记》后，有些方面可以补《教坊记》之不足。在"唐时乐制，绝无传者"的情况下,"存此尚足略见一斑,故《唐书》、《文献通考》、《乐府诗集》多取其说"（钱熙祚《乐府杂录跋》）。但书中也颇有"芜驳不伦"之处，钱氏于跋中列举了一些。尤其关于曲名一项，仅列11条，远不及《教坊记》丰富。有《守山阁丛书》钱熙祚校本、《说郛》本、《续百川学海》本、《古今说海》本等。
