Currently, China"s shortage of trained personnel, unreasonable personnel structure and poor quality of labor force have severely affected the social and economic development.

分析:

1) 当前,目前,使用副词currently;

Science and technology contributes to over 70% of the economic growth in Europe, the US and Japan, whose economies are technology-intensive.

分析:

1) 科学技术,这两个词好查,不多说;

英文表达,就把定语“欧洲、日本、美国的”转变为介词词组,后置。因此表达逻辑转变为“科学技术对经济发展率贡献了70%,在欧洲、日本、美国的”;

China"s economic growth mainly depends on cheap labor force and huge consumption of resources, yet science and technology contributes to less than 40%, and China"s economy is labor-intensive.

分析:

1) “A 主要依靠B”,使用词组depend on,副词mainly,主要地;

The gap mainly lies in the quality of labor force and science and technology.

谈学习“学习习惯的差距主要体现在听课时的集中度和课后作业完成质量”;

Therefore, it is necessary to develop the cause of education and cultivalte high-leved personnel.

分析:

1) 形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式;

2) 教育事业 cause of education

例如:

She has dedicated herself to the cause of education.

Pets are a great extension to famliy, as long as people are still aware of other humans around them. People who are in possession of pets, should take them seriously.

be in possession of sth.
